I have worked in construction my whole life. I grew up in the woods running machinery. I bought my first chainsaw at 7 years old. When I started school here I didn’t know any English, my first language was French. My father owned his own business and built the highway from Millinocket to the border of Canada. So my life has revolved around construction, problem-solving, and facing tough situations. My wife and I have been married for 30 years we have three adult children and two wonderful grandchildren. We decided to start our small business when our youngest daughter dreamed of owning her own home, but the high prices she faced made it a reality she was seeing fade away. I knew something needed to change not only for her but for many couples in this same situation.
